About Bruce Simpson
Bruce has many years
helping Call Centres improve their operations and
drive revenue. Working in Call Centres before the
ubiquity of voicemail and email, his talent in sales
combined with a disciplined bottom line approach
makes him one of our industry’s key advisors. He is
also a handyman at the cottage, sings with passion
and romps with his kids.
After many years in Sales Management and Call Centre
operations at Bell Canada, Bruce went entrepreneurial with
partners and started North Direct Response which morphed
into the hugely successful ClientLogic, now a billion dollar
global giant. Later stints in COO roles at InsLogic and
St. Elizabeth Healthcare allowed him to hone his executive
skills in the areas of high-end service delivery, remote field
sales, and mobile technologies.
Bruce works with his clients to find the right outsource
partners, is often engaged as an interim leader to help
teams through change, creates sales programs that
overachieve revenue targets, and regularly coaches team
leaders to lead vs. manage. He passionately believes that
“skill over compliance” will lead call centres out of the
performance wilderness.
