About Afshan Kinder

Afshan joined SwitchGear after 18 years of senior executive experience in a variety of sectors including airline, direct marketing, telecommunications and e-commerce. With both a creative streak and a competitive streak, Afshan balances life with interior decorating, painting with her kids, and playing a mean game of squash.

She was most recently head of ING DIRECT Funds and prior to that was SVP of Sales and Service at ING DIRECT Canada where she was responsible for two service centers and all retail outlets. Past positions include President of eOS Consulting Services as well as holding key management positions en route to VP of Customer Service for Sprint Canada.

After graduating from U of T with her BSc in Biochemistry, Afshan went into the “people business” of customer service vs. following a career in Pharmacology. She sat on the Board for Contact Centre Canada, which has a 10 year mandate to raise the profile of the Contact Centre industry in Canada. In 2008 she left the CCC to dedicate all of her time to SwitchGear.

With her dynamic approach to problem solving and ability to quickly implement a plan of action, Afshan has the vision and enthusiasm that will have your next project exceed expectations.
